Do any of you out there know what registrations Keith used on stuff like KE9?
I've now got the NI B4 which can emulate pretty much every parameter in the B3 and I'm struggling to get a real Keithesque sound.

All that I know, Mark is the basic setup that he uses:
888000000
With a beefed up percussion (harmonic 3rd) and add just the right amount of distortion.
I'm sure that there might be some other tricks that Keith uses to get that special KE9 organ sound. But, I'd say that a lotta it has to do with the recording techniques used on that album.
By the way, in my opinion, the Hammond C3 organ sound on the "Brain Salad Surgery" album is THE BEST sounding recording of a Hammond Organ, in all ProgRock history.

Thanks for that...
I had to smile, though. "If you want the KE hammond sound, buy a C3 an L100 and a big stack of Leslies and Marshalls..." Laughed at that!
