Thought I'd start a thread about various ELP and similar cover bands for discussion of how good they are and announcements about gigs.
To start, I just saw an upcoming show at the Galaxy Theater in Costa Mesa on Saturday, June 13 with a group called "Brain Salad". Anybody know about them? On the same bill are "Which One's Pink?" and "Led Zepagain".
Any other OC/LA folk want to check it out with me?

Hmmm still too far away to join you ... any Led Zep one I would give a chance too ... but as a Page girl, they have gotta go some to match! If you're in the UK, then the ELP one to see is Noddy's Puncture ... they are really good. See here www.noddyspuncture.co.uk/ ... Keith has actually joined in and jammed with this lot, and markone tells me that on at least one occasion, when Keith's L100 was out of action, Noddy's Puncture loaned him theirs .....

Yes - I know Tom - the Noddy's Puncture keyboardist. We've been conversing about Keith and keyboards for a few years now. Someday, whenever I finally visit the UK, I'll meet him in person and hopefully hear his band.
