As i've just got round to sending e-mails etc in the hope of people finding this place, I thought I'd start a thread or two in hope!
If you've just joined, maybe you would like to say a little about yourself and your interests ...
I'm married to a music writing, keyboard player .... you can visit his site and hear is music at www.markone.eclipse.co.uk/ I play the violin - from time to time - acoustic and electric, and just to make the electric a little more fun, it's plugged into guitar pedals!
There aren't any children in the house, but there are two tortoises, the age in behavioural terms of a tort goes according to his/her size. So, I still have one child (so to speak) and a teenager who is every bit as moody and can be as bad tempered as my teenage niece and nephew!
Apart from listening to Keith, ELP and The Nice .... when are we going to have a KEB CD? I also listen to Genesis, Yes, Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams .... mixed bag really.
I'm currently studying by correspondence course, at the moment monochrome drawing, but eventually and after enough courses, I will reach a degree in creative arts. My current tutor and I have already noted that music does affect my drawing - music while I draw does improve the final result, and what I listen to can affect the interpretation of what I'm doing .... we did a little experiment drawing against Keith's Changing States album, and then against Emerson Plays Emerson.
As well as drawing, I love reading, watching movies - mostly action and sci-fi stuff, listening to music and watching tennis.
