Great live album, from their appearance at the RosFest in Philly last year. Very well recorded and great performance. For this gig they seconded Nick d'Virgilio from Spock's Beard on drums, and it is more remarkable that the band only had a few days actually rehearsing together prior to the gig. Only available from the Frost website right now, as Jem was having problems with InsideOut Records, so he released it on his own Cube label. (Interestingly the next studio album will be back on IO - I suspect there is a 3 album deal and they are holding the band to it) TPE is a double CD with a bonus DVD charting the preparations for the gig. really fascinating stuff (and bonkers of course) There is a bonus, previously unreleased studio track - a 17 minute monster called The Dividing Line. www.frost-music.co.uk/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=34&zenid=f4d4269874d87421af18215764317406

Thanks Mark, I had missed this one - now on order and am eager to get it into the CD and ripped onto the Ipod!
Great band, great music.
Slightly off the Frost* piste but I would highly recommend 'On This Perfect Day' by Arjen Lucassen's Guilt Machine. Took me a while to get into it but it is one brilliant album.

I will seek that out and take a listen. Yeah, the Philadelphia Experiment is a great live album. The bonus' The Dividing Line' is a beast of a track.
It should be interesting to hear what Jem and his chums do at the Summer's End festival. He's being joined by Pete Trewavas from Marillion that night... great stuff!
