Your photos are so crisp and clear... what type of camera were you using ?

What I call 'my handbag camera' a little Olympus mju 850SW - shock proof and waterproof. i won't risk my 'proper' camera at concerts ... they may confiscate it.
Had this one a couple of years back when we off to Oz on holiday, so that I could put it in the water to take photos of the Barrier Reef.

I was wondering if they allowed cameras and video cameras at the High Voltage Festival.... or if they had to be covertly brought in.
Because, I've seen a lotta videos on YouTube, and the pics that you've posted are truly marvelous.
I was just wondering if they were checking for recording equipment, at the Festival.

I certainly got my bag checked ... but not very well. Did see one or two serious cameras, but most were pocket ones, and these days no one seems to both about you have them at concerts. I had mine at Transatlantic gig which was in a theatre, and no one worried.
Believe it or not, my baby camera is pink and lives in its very own pink case in my handbag! Colston Hall in Bristol, where we usually go, don't mind you having digital camera, but won't allow SLR digitals.
If you find any decent videos on YouTube, do post them ... the two I posted I picked up from Yesfans, where I'm a regular visitor.

There are quite a few videos on YouTube, of the event.... I guess that a lotta concert attendees decided to covertly bring their camcorder with them those two days.
From what I've seen in the videos, and what you've both told me ... I can tell it was a spectacular festival. ;D
I sooooooo wish I could've been there for the big ELP reunion.
