Hi, my name is Jenia, I am Russian, but I live in the States (FL) for 4 years. My boyfriend Michael is a keyboard player (LOL, it was always my fetish I guess, keyboard players, I've been a big Elton John fan for a long time), I play piano, too (not as good though 
) Michael was and is a huge fan of ELP and in his young days he was copying Keith Emerson a lot, they looked like brothers LOL, and also the way he played, and how he was on stage, he learned from him so much. He mentioned Keith before, but for some reason we never really got too deep into the subject, I think, maybe, because I am a lot younger, he was afraid I wouldn't understand the music.
Recently I had to drive 6 hours by car and I took a bunch of Michael's CDs with me so I can listen to somthing new while I am on the way, and I ran into ELP Black Moon. I really liked it, and I told Michael about it when I got back. He got all excited and said "Black Moon? Ooooooooh!!!!... You haven't heard nothing yet!!!" And he played me all those early things, like Trilogy, Endless Enigma, Take a Pebble...
Next thing I know, is that I am sitting at the piano, and learning Close to Home (which came out pretty cool!!!). Trilogy is going to be next.
I was SO overwhelmed and still am, it's the whole new world I opened for myself. I can't get enough, and youtube is my best friend
Michael is so excited that I took so much interest in his favourite band, and he tells me and shows me videos, and it's just so cool! Now my dream is to see Keith live, with ELP or not.
