Keyboardists are definitely cool Love the photos of his 'Keith' days ... There is no doubt who inspired him ;D In my case, there are a lot of keyboard players - though they are all prog rockers. There is the one I'm married to, Keith, Tony Banks of Genesis and Rick Wakeman of Yes. Yes have had quite a few keyboard players, and so I would have to add three of them ... Oliver Wakeman (Rick's son), Tony Kaye and Geoff Downes. And of course Rick does have another keyboard playing son, Adam, who I've seen in concert with his dad. So keyboard players play a big part in my life. . Though the violin is my instrument, and I do have a new guitar waiting for my attention

Thanks! Yeah, I saw his gigs from that period and I never realized that he was so obvious LOL. He told me he learned from Keith how to play Hammond right, because so many keyboard players try to play Hammond like piano, and that's wrong. When I came here from Russia, I didn't know much about music, so I'm glad Michael is trying to educate me.
I wish I could play violin, it's such a hard instrument! I am a piano player, too (not as good tough but I'm trying), but I wish I could play something else also, so Michael and I could play together. I am trying to learn guitar now.
