Hi All,
A plea to one of Keith's team for news about THE album produced the following info:
"I have good news: the album is ready and will be released in the late spring 2008! The album release will be followed by a summer EU tour (hopefully including a London date), and Japan later in the year"
and when asked for more details about when the actual release date will be and the content of the album they provided the following:
"May/June. Title in the making. About 8 tracks (thinking of possible bonus ones to add; so it could be more).
It’s the very first “concept” studio album Keith records since EL&P; and the first one with his K Emerson Band. It sounds absolutely fantastic to me – it’s the fan talking here"
Roll on May/June, has anyone else heard anything?
;D

This is indeed good news .... though late spring currently seems a long time away!!
I hope there's a London date too - I did so enjoy the last one back in 2006! ;D
Thanks for the info.

Hi Sue,
Whilst the 2006 concert in London was great, I do hope that Keith will choose a different venue for 2008! After a long train journey from Newcastle on a scorching day, the Astoria did not impress.
Keith, if you are listening, us geordie fans would give you a very warm welcome at the Newcastle City Hall (hint).

I'll agree the Astoria didn't impress .... other than being close to the front, in an aisle seat, and making it to stage edge and doing high 5s with Keith .... and as this proves, no I still haven't stopped going on about it!!!! ;D ;D ;D And Keith, those of us down south would give you a warm welcome at Bristol's Colston Hall .... ;D

Actually .... if you're reading this Keith, how about The Playhouse in Weston-super-Mare - it comes highly recommended by a certain Mr Rick Wakeman! I've lost count how many times I've been there to see Rick on tour.

New album? Tour with Dates in a county in which I live?
Almost too exciting to hear!
And a "Concept" studio album with only 8 tracks... This just gets better!
Thanks or the heads up l100. I get a feeling that this might just be awesome news
