Here is the artwork for the new album, pity they didn't include the rear cover with the track listing! According to this source the album will be released in Japan on 23rd July, no release dates for other countries though!

Must admit I'm not sure about the artwork, but I can't wait to get the CD onto my system and ripped to my ipod. I came across a series of short videos from Keith on one of the blogging sites and in one Keith makes reference to the new album being a CD/DVD release! Check it out here billsprogblog.blogspot.com/2008/04/keith-emerson-details-on-forthcoming.html Just wish I could find a UK release date!

I hope he realises how much trouble he's going to be in if we don't get a UK release date!
I can definitely handle a DVD as well as a CD.
I like the art work ... the organ appears to have been built of all the left over bits from the many Keith has destroyed on stage, and then of course destroyed this one ... probably during making the album ;D
The Korg link you've put on make this album all the more appealing .... all new stuff ....
Patience just isn't one of my virtues!

Getting back to the subject of the artwork I must admit I prefer the following as a concept, although it does look like the photographer caught Keith mid-speak. To me its says it all, Keith supported by Marc and the hottest keyboard driven music in the World!!!

Definitely like that one ....
Keith mid speak .... ok let me put this to you .... how good photos of Keith have you seen when he knows a camera is pointing at him and he's not behind his keyboards?
The only one I can bring to mind are those that I assume were part of the photo shoot for the biography - but he lounged around bare chested on, I assume, his own motorbike and didn't look at the camera.
Keith just doesn't really seem relaxed when he has to look at the camera - some people are great at it (like Bowie) some aren't.

More information about the album artwork (vinyl edition) and the artist, a short quote is included here:- Would you advise fans to purchase the 12" (LP) version of this album? Do you think it will become collectible?
Keith had been saying since day one that he wanted a 12” vinyl release of the album. So I've developed this artwork for a larger scale... it came out more organic, rather than the sort of graphic collage that I have done a bit of recently… difficult to force anything with it, the art only went where it wanted to go. It will be in full bloom on the vinyl release with a proper gatefold and everything…. So if you’re into that sort of thing (and like your music pressed on vinyl), it promises to be worthwhile.

Thanks for the link ... interesting interview. As an art student, I find that there comes a point where drawings take on a life of their own, and you have to go with flow. I also usually draw to music ... last night KEB were blasting out the speakers whilst I was trying to draw the photo on my avatar ... still more to do on that today. Oohhh does that mean I'll have to listen to KEB AGAIN!!!!
